1) iaitos, aikikai-hakamas and sword accessories arriving (ARR 19.02.2025 [Still Post of Finland is handling the express shiment 10.03.2025]). Shipment returning to Japan because Finnish Post problems. I will make new larger larger asap by airfreight to stock.
2) wooden weapons leaving from Japan - finaly wooden weapons are ready in Japan - arrival list will be updated asap - Murasaki Kokutan daito will leave out to next order (wood is drying for manufacturing). Airfreight ETA 31.03.2025.
3) bogu and part, shinai etc kendo items leaving from Japan. Airfreight ETA 31.03.2025. Icluding black hakamas for iaido/koryu.

180cm uniforms arrived to stock 350g Roku and 550g San-models jackets[180cm San-pants did not arrive unfortunately]. 100% cotton uniform is very popular and excellent for aikido, ju-jutsu, ken-jutsu or other koryu schools.
Roku uniform in soze 150-170cm is availabe small amount 20y celebreation model with two pants same price - tradional lace attachment or modern rubber/snair.
Rokuro-uniform in black is in stock too - excellent for Ken-jutsu or Tai-jutsu. Uniform is also 100% 350g cotton.

Latest information about wooden weapon from 10.03.2025 is that work is finished and 2nd patch arrival is estimated to end of March 2025. There should be all extra order from 2024 too.


Special pre-orders will be included and some items will be available in stock later - website will be updated after receiving the items. There will be some new items like extra heavy Suburi Bokuto.

I am sorry that my 2023 Spring order has been postponed until 2025 which I have no effect - the reasons on carpenter side is understandable and I could not help the situation in any way. I am lucky finaly having more info of these great items in my selection and no replacement of out side of Japan is needed. I am lucky to be able to serve my customer with best quality on wooden weapons.

Company main principles was to serve with high knowhow, high quality products and reasonable prices - this still holds.
Lot of experience has been formed around this with the customers and the manufacturers in the World. For the anniversary year I have set up the goal of getting more and more info to my website to help every budoka/koryuka from a beginner to a master.

After Covid it has been difficult to get some of those products enough which has been huge part of the selections. Transportation and raw material has been many times an issue during 2023. Some of the manufacturers has discontinued during 2022-2023 because of this. For now it looks like most of the selection is available in future and new products will arrive annually - also to replace the missing items like protectors for kendo and iaido which are one field of discontinued manufacturing of professional maker.
Wooden weapons has not been available as much as needed due to the lack of raw material, high demand and transportation. Meijin Budoshop wooden weapon selection mainly stays at it is, but some materials might not be available or very rarely - February 2024 will tell more if some items will be discontinued. The master carpenter has had some manufacturing difficulties and this might affect to the future of japanese high quality wooden weapons also. Replacing of items with Finnish products or any other is possible and will be seen during 2024.
Overall my company has been growing during past year and all the available items in stock has been in better situation after 2022. There has been some development with resellers in Europe and the service network will be worked out during 2024 more and more.
