Japanese iaitos are made for practising before using real sharp japanese sword so called Nihontos. All the practising swords are made of aluminium and traditional real swords are made of Tamahagane-steel. In Japna you are not allowed to manufacture japanese swords in any other way, so if you see any number telling the steel value will tell you that this is not a real japanese sword. Usually these decorative swords are made in China. We have not found swords suitable for training made outside of Japan and that is the reason why you can not get these decorative swords from us.
