New 12oz karate uniform and jacket arrived - the wait is over and here it is for many inquiries - name is 'Juni' [Juuni=twelve]. Sizes 150-200 and 180XXL.
New pacth of 8oz karate uniform arrived and goes with name 'Kihon' - 8oz price is same - multiple sizes 140/150/160/165/170/175/180/190/200.

Katana-jackets for iaido/kenjutsu arrived both black and white plenty to stock [New Model 2025/10 - with Katana-label - chest lases in both color! Collar is now with better shape and easy to keep looking sharp!] - multiple missing sizes back in stock (also 180XXL) - online stock updated soon.

2) (ARR 09/06/2025) wooden weapons leaving from Japan - finaly wooden weapons are ready in Japan - arrival list will be updated asap - Murasaki Kokutan daito will leave out to next order (wood is drying for manufacturing). Incoming 2kg suburibokuto, special size bokuto, Bo, Tanto, etc.

20 years of service for budo and koryu people! Unbelievable but true and huge thank you every customer. 2004 my company was established to serve all enthuasist of japanese martial arts. Company main principles was to serve with high knowhow, high quality products and reasonable prices - this still holds.
Lot of experience has been formed around this with the customers and the manufacturers in the World. For the anniversary year I have set up the goal of getting more and more info to my website to help every budoka/koryuka from a beginner to a master.
Thank you for all coaches and senseis for the trust to send beginners to my shop and start the path with Meijin Budoshop products. I will do my best that every person who will be served in Meijin Budoshop will get the easy way to start path and to be served with high knowhow - in this field I will learn every day something new and I appreciate all the info I will get from each person.

After Covid it has been difficult to get some of those products enough which has been huge part of the selections. Transportation and raw material has been many times an issue during 2023. Some of the manufacturers has discontinued during 2022-2023 because of this. For now it looks like most of the selection is available in future and new products will arrive annually - also to replace the missing items like protectors for kendo and iaido which are one field of discontinued manufacturing of professional maker.
Wooden weapons has not been available as much as needed due to the lack of raw material, high demand and transportation. Meijin Budoshop wooden weapon selection mainly stays at it is, but some materials might not be available or very rarely - February 2024 will tell more if some items will be discontinued. The master carpenter has had some manufacturing difficulties and this might affect to the future of japanese high quality wooden weapons also. Replacing of items with Finnish products or any other is possible and will be seen during 2024.
Overall my company has been growing during past year and all the available items in stock has been in better situation after 2022. There has been some development with resellers in Europe and the service network will be worked out during 2024 more and more.
